Dr. Pruss – Compassionate Endodontist at Dentist of Torrance

Dr. Pruss grew up in Michigan and graduated with honors in Physiology and Chemistry from Michigan State University. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University School of Dental Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Following dental school, she completed a hospital-based residency at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center, where she received advanced training in complex dental and medical cases. She went on to earn her postdoctoral degree in Endodontics, refining her expertise in root canal therapy and microscopic endodontic techniques.

Before relocating to Southern California, Dr. Pruss practiced in New York City for 12 years, where she developed a reputation for her precision, compassion, and commitment to patient comfort. She is a proud member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, and the California Dental Association.

Dedicated to giving back, Dr. Pruss volunteers regularly on international dental missions, providing care to underserved communities in Cambodia, Spain, Rwanda, India, and the Congo. She is particularly active in her work with the Angkor Hospital for Children in Siem Reap, Cambodia.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Pruss is an avid traveler who has explored over 118 countries and counting. She enjoys skiing, running, and spending time with her husband and two children.
